Flame Retardant

Description

This type of masterbatch contains 74% of flame retardant Additive Masterbatchs based on LDPE carrier (brominated Additive Masterbatch and antimony trioxyde). Thermal stabiliser is present in the formulation and product can be delivered already coloured (on request). Other grade of masterbatch is based on LLDPE, containing antimony trioxide and a chlorinated paraffin. The product is characterized also by an improved thermal stability.

This masterbatch can be supplied in different shades of grey according to customer needs. It is used for fireproofing and coloring ICT electrical tubes. The amount recommended to pass standard EN 50086 – 1 (1993) is about 5 à 8 % depending on the thickness and diameter of the tube and protection required.
